The Zinga SLE225 is an SLE2 Series tank mount filter element with 25 micron cellulose media. It installs inside a tank mount filter housing and captures particles as fluid passes through it into the reservoir side of the circuit.
The element is 2.5 in outside diameter and 11.7 in long. Cellulose works as a depth media, trapping particles throughout the thickness of the material rather than only on its surface. Confirm both dimensions against your housing before ordering a replacement.
The nominal rating is ß19µ(c) = 2 and the absolute rating is ß36µ(c) = 75. In plain terms, a beta ratio of 2 at a particle size means about half of the particles at that size are captured, and a ratio of 75 means about 98.7 percent are captured.
A 25 micron rating is a coarser grade. It has more open media than fine grades, so it loads more slowly and suits circuits where general contamination control is enough.
Replace the element when the pressure drop across it rises or at your scheduled service interval. Keeping a spare on hand shortens downtime when the element is due.
