The Zinga RE40925 is an RE Series tank mount filter element with 25 micron cellulose media and bi-directional flow. It sits inside a tank mount filter housing on the reservoir and traps particles in the fluid that passes through it.
The element measures 3.91 in outside diameter, 1.96 in inside diameter and 9.19 in long. Check these dimensions against your housing before ordering.
The nominal rating is β19µ(c) = 2 and the absolute rating is β36µ(c) = 75. A beta ratio compares particle counts before and after the media at a set size. At a ratio of 2, about half of the particles at that size are captured. At 75, about 98.7 percent are captured.
Bi-directional flow means the element is rated for fluid passing in either direction, outside to inside or inside to outside.
A 25 micron rating is a coarser grade. Coarser media has more open area and loads more slowly than fine grades, which suits circuits where general contamination control is enough. Replace the element when the pressure drop rises or at your scheduled service interval.
