The Zinga RE40910 is an RE Series tank mount filter element with 10 micron cellulose media and bi-directional flow. It fits inside a tank mount filter housing on the reservoir and cleans the fluid that passes through it.
The element is 3.91 in outside diameter, 1.96 in inside diameter and 9.19 in long. Use those dimensions to confirm the fit in your housing.
The nominal rating is β5µ(c) = 2 and the absolute rating is β19µ(c) = 75. A beta ratio compares the particle count upstream of the media with the count downstream at a given size. A ratio of 2 means about half of those particles are captured, and a ratio of 75 means about 98.7 percent are captured.
Bi-directional flow means the element is rated for fluid passing through the media in either direction, so it is not limited to outside to inside or inside to outside installation.
A 10 micron cellulose grade is a middle option. It captures finer particles than coarse media while loading more slowly than very fine media, which suits general contamination control. Change the element when the pressure drop across it rises or at your set service interval.
