The Zinga AE03 is an AE Series spin-on hydraulic filter element with 3 micron cellulose media. Cellulose works as a depth media, trapping particles throughout the thickness of the material rather than only on its surface. A spin-on element screws onto a filter head and is replaced as a single sealed unit, which keeps element changes fast and clean.
The element measures 3.8 in in diameter and 5.8 in in overall height, and it mounts on a 1-12 UN thread. Match the thread to your filter head before ordering.
It is rated for 250 psi maximum operating pressure and a maximum differential pressure of 50 psid. The differential figure is the pressure drop across the media, which rises as the element collects contaminant. Operating temperature is rated up to +250°F.
A 3 micron rating is a fine grade, intended for circuits where small particles matter. Fine media loads faster than coarse media in the same body, so plan element changes around the pressure drop rather than a fixed calendar alone.
