The Zinga LE-03 is an LE Series spin-on filter element with 3 micron cellulose media. Cellulose works as a depth media, trapping particles throughout the thickness of the material rather than only on its surface. A spin-on element threads onto a filter head and is replaced as one unit, which keeps maintenance simple.
The element measures 5.1 in in diameter and 10.9 in in overall height, and it mounts on a 1-1/2-16 UN thread. The long body gives the media more length within the same diameter and thread.
It is rated for 200 psi maximum operating pressure and 50 psid maximum differential pressure. The differential rating refers to the pressure drop across the media as it loads with dirt. Operating temperature is rated up to +250°F.
A 3 micron rating is a fine grade for circuits where small particles matter. Fine media captures more of those particles and fills faster than coarse media, so watch the pressure drop and change the element when it rises.
