The Hyvair D03M-4T is a D03 manual lever valve, a directional control valve that the operator shifts by hand. It directs flow between the pump, tank and actuator ports to control the direction of a cylinder or motor.
This is a 3 position, detented valve. A detent holds the spool in each of its three positions, so the lever stays where the operator sets it until it is moved again.
The spool function is P to A and B, T Blocked. In the center position, P is connected to both A and B while T is blocked. Pump pressure reaches both work ports at once, and neither work port can drain to tank while the lever is centered.
Flow is rated at 7 gpm at 3,000 psi and 10 gpm at 1,000 psi. The P, A and B ports are rated for 3,000 psi operating pressure, and the T port is rated for 1,000 psi, so keep tank line back pressure below that limit. The working temperature range is 40°F to 160°F.
