The Hyvair D03M-2A is a D03 series manual lever directional control valve. It is a 3 position, spring centered valve with a P to A, B to T spool function, operated by hand with a lever.
A lever valve gives the operator direct control of the spool. Moving the lever shifts the spool and connects the pressure and tank ports to the work ports in a different pattern. On a spring centered valve, springs return the spool to the center position as soon as the lever is released, so the valve does not stay shifted without the operator holding it.
Flow is rated at 7 gpm at 3,000 psi and 10 gpm at 1,000 psi. The P, A and B ports are rated to 3,000 psi, and the T port is rated to 1,000 psi. Keep tank line back pressure within the T port rating when planning the return circuit.
The working temperature range is 40°F to 160°F. Check fluid temperature at the valve if the system runs warm or starts in cold conditions.
The D03 series designation sets the mounting size. Install the D03M-2A on a D03 subplate or manifold station, and confirm the spool function against your circuit drawing before ordering.
