The Hyvair SSBV-6FS is a 3/8 in high pressure stainless steel ball valve with a full port and female SAE connections. It is a two-way valve in the SS Series for hydraulic and industrial fluid power use. A quarter turn of the handle moves the ball between open and closed.
The body is 316 stainless steel. Inside, a pressure-balanced floating ball sits between pre-loaded ball seats. Line pressure pushes the floating ball against the downstream seat, and the pre-load keeps the seats in contact for tight shutoff and long service life.
The specifications list a maximum pressure rating of 7250 psi and a temperature rating of -30 to 212°F. The full port bore matches the 3/8 in port size, so flow through the open valve sees little restriction.
The female SAE ports are straight-thread ports that seal with an O-ring on the mating male fitting. That style of connection is common on hydraulic circuits where a leak-tight joint matters. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and cuts down on maintenance, and the compact 3/8 in size fits hydraulic circuits, process lines and instrumentation lines.
