The Hyvair SSBV-6FP is an SS Series high pressure ball valve in stainless steel, with a 3/8 in full port and female NPT connections. It is rated for a maximum of 7,250 psi and a temperature range of -30°F to 212°F.
The valve is built from 316 stainless steel in a 3-piece body. A 3-piece design lets the center section with the ball and seats come out of the line for service while the two end pieces stay threaded onto the piping. Stainless construction resists corrosion and holds up to the 7,250 psi rating in a compact 3/8 in size.
Full port means the bore through the ball matches the nominal port size, so the open valve adds very little restriction to the line. That keeps pressure drop low and flow close to what the open pipe would carry.
Operation is quarter turn: a 90 degree turn of the handle moves the ball from fully open to fully closed. Use the valve for on/off service rather than throttling. Female NPT ports thread onto male pipe ends or fittings, so plan a thread sealant rated for your fluid and pressure. Confirm your line size, pressure and temperature against these ratings before ordering.
