The SSBV-16FS is an SS Series high pressure ball valve in stainless steel with a 1 in full port and female SAE connections. It is rated for temperatures from -30°F to 212°F.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn. The handle rotates a ball with a bore through its center. With the bore aligned to the ports, fluid passes. Turned 90 degrees, the solid side of the ball blocks the path. That makes it a simple, positive shutoff for a branch, a pump line or a section of a circuit.
