The Hyvair SSBV-4FP is a high pressure stainless steel ball valve with a 1/4 in full port and female NPT connections. It is part of the SS Series and is built for medium to high pressure hydraulic and water systems. A quarter turn of the handle opens or closes the valve, giving the operator a fast way to shut off or isolate a line.
The valve is made from 316 stainless steel with a 3-piece body. Stainless steel resists corrosion, which suits the hydraulic and water systems this valve is built for. The 3-piece design allows the center section to be opened for service.
This 1/4 in size is rated to 7250 psi maximum, and the temperature rating is -30 to 212°F. The full port bore matches the port size, so the valve keeps pressure drop low when open and gives tight shutoff when closed.
The female NPT ports accept standard male pipe-thread fittings, and the compact 1/4 in body fits hydraulic lines, instrumentation, test rigs and manifolds. The SS Series is offered in full and reduced port configurations; this part number is the full port version in 1/4 in.
