The Hyvair SSBV-8FS is a 1/2 in high pressure stainless steel ball valve with a full port and female SAE (FS) connections. It is built for medium to high pressure hydraulic and water systems. A quarter turn of the handle opens or closes the line.
The valve has a 3-piece, block-style body made from 316 stainless steel. In the SS Series, block-style bodies are full port up to 1 in, and this 1/2 in valve falls within that range. The 3-piece design makes it straightforward to service the internals.
This size is rated to 7250 psi maximum, with a temperature rating of -30 to 212°F. The full port geometry keeps pressure drop low and preserves flow through the valve, while the ball and seats give leak-resistant shutoff when closed.
The female SAE ports are straight-thread ports that seal with an O-ring on the mating male fitting, a common choice for hydraulic circuits. The 316 stainless body resists corrosion in industrial, marine and process environments. The SSBV-8FS fits high pressure hydraulic circuits, test stands and process lines where pressure capability and long service life count.
