The Hyvair D05M-4H is a D05 series manual lever actuated directional valve. It is a 3 position, detented valve with an all ports open spool function.
On a detented lever valve, the spool stays in the position the operator selects. The lever does not spring back when released; the operator moves it to the next position by hand. This differs from a spring centered valve, which returns to center on its own. The all ports open function connects the P, T, A and B ports to each other.
Flow is rated at 12 gpm at 3,000 psi and 18 gpm at 1,000 psi. The P, A and B ports are rated to 3,000 psi, and the T port is rated to 1,000 psi. Plan the return circuit so tank pressure stays within the T port limit.
Working temperature is listed from 40°F to 160°F.
The D05 series designation identifies the mounting size, so the valve mounts on a D05 subplate or manifold station. Because the valve holds its position, confirm that a detented valve with an all ports open function suits the circuit before ordering.
