The Hyvair D05M-4F is a D05 series manual lever directional control valve with a 3 position detented spool. Its F function blocks the P port in center and connects both A and B to T. A directional valve routes pump flow to one side of an actuator or the other, and the lever lets an operator make that choice by hand, right at the valve.
Detents hold the spool in whichever position the operator selects. Release the lever and it stays where it was set; the spool does not spring back to center on its own. In center, pump flow is held at the blocked P port while both work ports drain to tank, which lets the actuator float.
Flow rating is 12 gpm at 3000 psi and 18 gpm at 1000 psi. The P, A and B ports are rated to 3000 psi. The T port is rated to 1000 psi, so keep return line pressure below that limit when you plan the tank circuit.
Working temperature range is 40 to 160 °F, and the valve is designed for up to 30 million spool shifts under proper use. Choose the D05M-4F when a circuit needs a lever that holds its position and a center condition that blocks the pump while venting both work ports to tank.
