The Hyvair D05M-2H is a D05 manual lever valve, a directional control valve that the operator shifts by hand. It directs flow between the pump, tank and actuator ports to control the direction of a cylinder or motor.
This is a 3 position, spring centered valve. Moving the lever one way or the other shifts the spool to an outer position, and springs return the spool to center when the lever is released.
The spool function is All Ports Open. In the center position, all ports are open to each other. Pump flow passes to tank, and the actuator lines are open to tank as well, so the actuator is not held by the valve while the lever is centered.
Flow is rated at 12 gpm at 3,000 psi and 18 gpm at 1,000 psi. The P, A and B ports are rated for 3,000 psi operating pressure, and the T port is rated for 1,000 psi, so keep tank line back pressure below that limit. The working temperature range is 40°F to 160°F.
