The Hyvair D05M-2C is a D05 series manual lever actuated directional valve. It is a 3 position, spring centered valve with a P to T, A and B blocked spool function.
The lever lets the operator shift the spool by hand to change how oil moves between the pressure, tank and work ports. Springs return the spool to center when the lever is released. With the P to T, A and B blocked function, pump flow passes to tank while both work ports stay closed, which keeps the actuator ports shut and allows the pump to unload.
Rated flow is 12 gpm at 3,000 psi and 18 gpm at 1,000 psi. The P, A and B ports are rated to 3,000 psi, and the T port is rated to 1,000 psi. Keep return line pressure within the T port rating.
The working temperature range is 40°F to 160°F.
The D05 series designation sets the mounting size. Install this valve on a D05 subplate or manifold station, and check the spool function against your circuit drawing, since it controls what happens when the lever returns to center.
