The Hyvair D05M-1A is a D05 manual lever valve, a directional control valve that the operator shifts by hand. It directs flow between the pump, tank and actuator ports to control the direction of a cylinder or motor.
This is a 2 position, spring offset valve. A spring holds the spool in its normal position; moving the lever shifts the spool to its second position, and the spring returns it when the operator lets go.
The listed spool function is P to A, B to T. The valve works with four ports: P for pump pressure, T for tank return, and A and B for the actuator lines. Shifting the spool changes which ports connect.
Flow is rated at 12 gpm at 3,000 psi and 18 gpm at 1,000 psi. The P, A and B ports are rated for 3,000 psi operating pressure, and the T port is rated for 1,000 psi, so keep tank line back pressure below that limit. The working temperature range is 40°F to 160°F.
