The Hyvair POR20-20FP-3K is a POR20 Series pilot operated relief valve with 1-1/4 in female NPT ports. Its setting adjusts from 1,000 to 3,500 psi, it handles 4 to 100 gpm and it is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 180°F.
A relief valve limits system pressure. It stays closed until pressure reaches the setting, then opens to pass flow to tank and hold pressure there. In a pilot operated design, a small pilot stage senses system pressure and controls a larger main stage that carries the flow. That lets the valve pass high flow while holding its setting closer to steady than a direct acting relief of the same size.
This is the 3K pressure range version, for settings from 1,000 to 3,500 psi, in the larger 1-1/4 in port size. Size it to your pump flow: the listed range runs from a 4 gpm minimum to a 100 gpm maximum, and below the minimum the main stage may not regulate as intended.
The female NPT ports thread onto male pipe fittings, so the valve can mount in line without a manifold. Use a suitable thread sealant on assembly. Confirm your pressure setting, flow and fluid temperature against these ratings before ordering.
