The POR20-12FS-1K is a pilot operated relief valve from the POR20 Series with 3/4 in #12 SAE female ports. Its pressure setting adjusts from 350 to 1,000 psi, and it handles 2 to 50 gpm.
A relief valve sets the upper pressure limit of a circuit. When pressure reaches the setting, the valve opens to tank and holds the line at that value. In a pilot operated relief, a small pilot section senses system pressure and controls when the main stage opens. The main stage then carries the full flow. That split lets a compact valve handle flow up to 50 gpm.
The pressure range is 350 to 1,000 psi. Set the valve above your highest working pressure and inside that range. For relief settings above 1,000 psi, look at a higher pressure version in the POR20 Series.
Connections are female SAE straight thread, #12 size, for 3/4 in lines. SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring on the fitting rather than on the thread itself. Flow range is 2 gpm minimum to 50 gpm maximum. Maximum fluid temperature is 180°F.
