The POR20-12FP-1K is a POR20 Series pilot operated relief valve with 3/4 in NPT ports. It adjusts from 350 to 1,000 psi and handles flow from 2 to 50 gpm.
A relief valve caps the pressure in a hydraulic circuit. Once pressure reaches the setting, the valve opens and sends oil to tank, holding the circuit at that pressure. The pilot operated design uses a small pilot stage to control a larger main stage. The pilot sets the opening point and the main stage carries the flow, which lets the valve pass high flow while holding close to its setting.
The 1K pressure range, 350 to 1,000 psi, places this valve on lower pressure circuits. If your system relief setting is above 1,000 psi, choose a higher range model in the same series.
Ports are 3/4 in NPT with female pipe connections, so the valve threads directly into a pipe line. Flow range is 2 gpm minimum to 50 gpm maximum, and maximum fluid temperature is 180°F.
Check your pump flow against the 2 to 50 gpm range and confirm that the 3/4 in NPT ports match your plumbing before you order.
