The Hyvair SBV-6FP is a high pressure steel ball valve with a 3/8 in female NPT connection and a full port bore. It is rated to 7,250 psi maximum and is built for manual on and off isolation in hydraulic service.
A ball valve works with a quarter turn. Rotate the handle and a bored ball inside the body lines up with the flow path to open the line, or turns crosswise to close it. That gives positive shutoff and a clear visual indication of valve position.
Because the SBV-6FP is full port, the bore through the ball matches the nominal 3/8 in size. Flow passes with minimal restriction, which helps keep pressure drop low in the line. The steel body is sized to carry the pressure rating in a compact package.
The temperature rating is 14°F to 212°F. The valve belongs to the Hyvair S Series of high pressure steel ball valves, which covers multiple port sizes and both NPT and SAE connections.
