The Hyvair SBV-12FS is a high pressure steel ball valve with #12 SAE female ports, a 3/4 in nominal size and a full bore design. It is a two-way, in-line, block-style valve operated by a manual handle, built for isolation in high pressure hydraulic service.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn. The bored ball inside the body aligns with the flow path to open the line and turns crosswise to block it, giving positive shutoff.
The full bore keeps the passage through the ball equal to the 3/4 in size, so the valve adds little flow restriction or pressure loss to the line. The body is steel and the softgoods are Buna, a seal material suited to hydraulic oil.
The SAE female ports accept #12 SAE O-ring boss fittings, a straight-thread connection common on hydraulic components. The compact block style simplifies installation into hydraulic circuits and next to manifold assemblies. The temperature rating is 14°F to 212°F.
