The Hyvair SBV-12FP is a high pressure steel ball valve with 3/4 in female NPT connections and a full port bore. It is a two-way, in-line, block-style valve built for manual isolation in high pressure hydraulic service.
A ball valve opens or closes with a quarter turn of the handle. A bored ball inside the steel body lines up with the flow path to open the line and turns crosswise to shut it. That gives positive shutoff and a clear indication of valve position.
The full bore design keeps the passage through the ball equal to the 3/4 in line size. Flow is not restricted at the valve, which keeps pressure drop low. The compact block style fits into piping runs and alongside hydraulic manifolds.
The temperature rating is 14°F to 212°F. The SBV-12FP is part of the Hyvair S Series of high pressure steel ball valves, offered in several sizes with female NPT or female SAE ports.
The 3/4 in female pipe threads accept standard male NPT fittings, which makes installation and replacement straightforward.
