The Hyvair SBV-16FS is an S Series high pressure ball valve with a steel body, a 1 in full port and female SAE connections. The temperature rating is 14°F to 212°F.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn. The handle rotates a ball with a bore through its center. With the bore lined up with the ports, fluid passes. Turned 90 degrees, the solid side of the ball blocks the line. That makes this valve a straightforward way to isolate a branch, a pump or a section of a circuit.
