The Hyvair SBV-16FP is a high pressure steel ball valve with a 1 in female NPT port and a full bore design. It is a two-way, in-line, block-style valve with manual handle actuation, built for on and off isolation in high pressure hydraulic service.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn of the handle. A bored ball rotates inside the body to line up with the flow path or turn crosswise to stop it. The handle position shows at a glance whether the line is open.
Because the bore matches the 1 in line size, flow passes with minimal pressure drop. The valve uses 3-piece block construction with a steel body and Buna softgoods, which are compatible with oil-based media. The 3-piece layout also makes the valve easier to service.
The temperature rating is 14°F to 212°F. The SBV-16FP is part of the Hyvair S Series of high pressure steel ball valves, offered with female NPT or female SAE connections.
The 1 in female pipe threads accept standard male NPT fittings. Install the SBV-16FP at maintenance isolation points, on hydraulic manifolds or at test connections where a manual shutoff is needed. Confirm the pressure rating for this size with us before ordering.
