The Hyvair SBV-4FP is a high pressure steel ball valve with a 1/4 in female NPT port and a full port bore. It is a compact, two-way, in-line valve rated to 7,250 psi, built for hydraulic lines where space is tight and working pressure is high.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn of the handle. When open, the full port bore matches the line size, so flow passes with little restriction and low pressure drop. When closed, the ball gives positive shutoff for isolating a circuit.
The SBV-4FP has a steel body and Buna softgoods, which suit hydraulic oil service. It uses a 3-piece, block-style construction that supports installation and service, and it is operated by a lever handle. The temperature rating is 14°F to 212°F.
This valve is part of the Hyvair S Series of high pressure steel ball valves. The 1/4 in female NPT connection accepts standard male pipe thread fittings. Choose it when a small-bore hydraulic line needs a manual isolation point that can hold up to 7,250 psi. Larger sizes and SAE-ported versions are available in the same series if your plumbing calls for them.
