The Hyvair SBV-20FS is an S Series high pressure ball valve with a steel body, a 1-1/4 in full port and female SAE connections. It is rated for temperatures from 14°F to 212°F.
A ball valve works with a quarter turn of the handle. Inside, a ball with a bore through its center rotates with the handle. Line the bore up with the ports and fluid flows. Turn it 90 degrees and the ball closes the line. It is a simple, positive way to isolate part of a hydraulic circuit.
Full port means the bore through the ball matches the nominal 1-1/4 in size. The open valve keeps the full flow path, so pressure drop across it stays low. On a line this size, that helps when the circuit carries high flow.
The female SAE ports use SAE straight threads. They seal with an O-ring on the mating fitting, so no thread sealant goes into the system. The 20 in the part number is the SAE dash size for 1-1/4 in.
