The Hyvair SBV-20FP is a high pressure steel ball valve with 1-1/4 in female NPT connections and a full bore. It is a two-way, in-line, round-body valve from the Hyvair S Series, rated to 5,075 psi and operated by a handle.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn. A bored ball inside the body aligns with the line for flow and rotates crosswise to stop it, giving positive shutoff and a visible indication of position.
The full port round-body design keeps the passage through the ball equal to the 1-1/4 in line size, which keeps pressure drop low on larger lines. The body is steel, the ball seats are POM and the stem seals are Buna. The valve uses 3-piece construction, so it can be opened up for routine maintenance and field service.
The SBV-20FP is rated for 14°F to 212°F (-10°C to 100°C). It is recommended for petroleum-based fluids from ISO VG32 to VG68.
The female pipe threads accept standard 1-1/4 in male NPT fittings. Use the SBV-20FP as a manual isolation point on high pressure hydraulic lines, at test stands or on manifolds where a large-bore shutoff is needed.
