The Hyvair SBVR-24FP is a high pressure steel ball valve with 1-1/2 in female NPT connections and a reduced port bore. It is a two-way valve built for manual on and off control in high pressure hydraulic oil service.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn of the handle. Inside the steel body, a bored ball aligns with the flow path to open the line and rotates crosswise to close it, giving positive shutoff.
The SBVR designation identifies the reduced port version. On a reduced port valve, the bore through the ball is smaller than the nominal 1-1/2 in line size. That keeps the valve body more compact than a full port valve of the same connection size, with somewhat more restriction to flow. If you need the full bore, the SBV-24FP is the full port version in this size.
The valve is rated for 14°F to 212°F and uses sealing materials suited to oil media. It belongs to the Hyvair S Series of high pressure steel ball valves.
The 1-1/2 in female pipe threads accept standard male NPT fittings. Use the SBVR-24FP as a manual isolation point on larger hydraulic lines. Confirm the pressure rating for this size with us before ordering.
