The Hyvair SBV-24FS is an S Series high pressure steel ball valve with 1-1/2 in female SAE connections and a full port bore.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn of the handle. The ball inside has a bore through its center. Aligned with the line, the bore passes flow; turned 90 degrees, the solid ball blocks it. The handle position shows at a glance whether the valve is open or closed.
Full port means the bore through the ball is sized to the line size. Oil passes through with no step down in diameter, which keeps pressure drop low compared with a reduced port valve of the same size.
The ends are female SAE straight thread ports for 1-1/2 in lines. SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring on the fitting. The body is steel, and the rated temperature range is 14°F to 212°F.
Confirm the pressure rating for your circuit before you order. Also check the SAE port size against your fittings and make sure your fluid temperature stays within 14°F to 212°F.
