The Hyvair SBV-24FP is a high pressure steel ball valve with 1-1/2 in female NPT connections and a full port bore. It is a two-way valve from the Hyvair S Series, built for quarter-turn shutoff in high pressure hydraulic service.
Turning the handle a quarter turn rotates a bored ball inside the body. Aligned with the line, it opens the flow path; turned crosswise, it gives tight shutoff.
The full-bore round-body design keeps the passage through the ball equal to the 1-1/2 in line size. That keeps pressure drop low, which matters at this flow size. The body is steel, the ball seats are POM and the stem seals are Buna.
The valve uses 3-piece construction for serviceability. That layout makes routine maintenance easier and helps cut downtime. The temperature rating is 14°F to 212°F (-10°C to 100°C), and the valve is recommended for petroleum-based fluids from ISO VG32 to VG68.
The 1-1/2 in female pipe threads accept standard male NPT fittings. Use the SBV-24FP as a manual isolation point on large-bore hydraulic lines, presses or test stands that run on petroleum-based fluid. Confirm the pressure rating for this size with us before ordering.
