The Hyvair D03SD-2B-12D-35 is a D03 double solenoid operated directional valve with 12 VDC DIN coils. It is part of the D03 Series 35 line and mounts on the NFPA T3.5.1.MR1-D03 / ISO 4401-03 interface. Two solenoids shift the spool in either direction, and springs return it to center.
This 3 position, spring centered valve uses the 2B spool, so all ports are blocked in center. The actuator ports are closed and the actuator holds its position, while pump flow is blocked at the valve.
The valve is rated to 5000 psi (35 MPa) maximum operating pressure and 26.4 gpm (100 L/min) maximum flow. The tank port is rated to 3040 psi.
Each 12 VDC DIN coil uses a 3-pin DIN 43650 Form A / ISO 4400 connector, and the connector is supplied. The coils operate within 10.8 to 13.2 V with 30 W holding power, and DC coils are not polarity sensitive. A push pin manual override lets a technician shift the spool by hand without energizing the coil. The oil-immersed solenoids run quietly, plug-in coils change out without disturbing wiring, and Double Loop tank channels reduce pressure drop. Hyvair designs the valve for 30 million spool shifts. A mounting bolt kit is included.
Recommended filtration is 25 micron. Fluid temperature range is -4 to 158 °F, and fluid viscosity range is 80 to 1400 SUS.
