The FB-D03/D05 is a foot bracket kit for D03 and D05 size valves. One part number covers both sizes, and it is listed with the solenoid valve bolt kits at Island Hydraulic Supply.
D03 and D05 are standard mounting pattern sizes for directional control valves and for the subplates, manifolds and modular valves built to match them. D03 is the smaller pattern and D05 the larger. Because the patterns are standardized, hardware made for a D03 or D05 interface lines up with valves and subplates of the same size.
A foot bracket provides a mounting foot, so a valve assembly can be fastened to a machine frame, panel or other flat surface. It holds the assembly in a fixed position on the machine.
When you fit any mounting hardware to a D03 or D05 assembly, tighten the fasteners evenly and to the torque the valve maker specifies. Even clamping keeps the valve seated on its seals and in line with the passages it mounts over.
