The LB-10-3-A-8T is an aluminum line body for L Series cartridge valves. It holds one screw-in cartridge in a C10-3 cavity and connects it to the circuit through SAE 8 ports, so a cartridge function can sit inline in a hose or tube run instead of in a machined manifold.
The C10-3 cavity is a 10-size, 3-way cavity. The body provides three flow paths and accepts 3-way cartridges built for that cavity. Check the cavity code on your cartridge before ordering; a cartridge made for a 2-way or 4-way cavity will not seal or work correctly in a 3-way bore.
The body is made from aluminum and is rated for 3,000 psi operating pressure. Aluminum keeps the assembly light, which helps when the valve hangs in a line rather than bolting to a frame. Keep system pressure at or below that rating.
Body porting is SAE 8, a straight-thread port that seals with an O-ring fitting. Use SAE 8 adapters to connect hose or tube. The part number reads in order: LB for line body, 10 for the cavity size, 3 for the number of ways, A for aluminum and 8T for the SAE 8 porting. Order the body and the cartridge as separate parts.
