The LSV2-08-2NCP is a solenoid‑operated, 2‑way/2‑position normally‑closed poppet‑type cartridge valve designed for standard 08‑2 cavities; when de‑energized it functions as a check valve allowing flow from port 1 to 2 while blocking 2 to 1, and when energized the poppet lifts to open the 2→1 flow path. Key technical data include a maximum operating pressure of 207 bar, internal leakage limited to 2 drops/min at 207 bar, temperature range −40°F to +212°F (−40°C to +100°C), fluid viscosity compatibility of 7.4–420 cSt, continuous coil duty rating (85–115% nominal), and body material options including 6061‑T6 aluminum (steel and ductile iron versions available); a manual override with detent is available for holding the valve open if required.

In cartridge form the LSV2-08-2NCP delivers compact, manifold‑mountable directional control with the positive sealing and low internal leakage of a poppet design, making it well suited for load‑holding, anti‑reverse flow and sequencing functions where a valve must act as a check when de‑energized and be opened on command.
