The Hyvair BBV-12FP-12MP is a B Series brass ball valve with a 3/4 in NPT female by male connection. The male end threads straight into a female port, and the female end accepts a male fitting, so the valve can mount directly on a component or manifold. It is rated to 600 psi at 100°F and 100 psi at 375°F.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn. Rotating the handle turns a bored ball inside the body to align with the flow path or block it, giving positive manual shutoff.
The body, bonnet, ball and stem are brass. The ball seats are PTFE and the O-rings are NBR, with a steel handle. PTFE seats provide consistent sealing with low maintenance, and the brass construction resists corrosion over a long service life.
The B Series is offered in NPT sizes from 1/4 in to 4 in. Sizes from 1/4 in to 2 in, including this 3/4 in valve, carry the 600 psi at 100°F rating. The rating drops as temperature rises, so check your operating temperature before installation.
