The Hyvair BBV-32FP is a B Series brass ball valve with 2 in female NPT ports, built for inline shutoff and on and off flow control. It is rated to 600 psi at 100°F, decreasing to 100 psi at 375°F.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn of the handle. A bored ball inside the body aligns with the pipe for flow and turns crosswise to close the line, giving positive shutoff.
The body, ball and stem are brass. The ball seats are PTFE and the seals are NBR O-rings. A steel handle provides the quarter-turn operation. PTFE seats add chemical compatibility, and the brass components resist corrosion.
At 2 in, the BBV-32FP is the largest size in the B Series that carries the 600 psi at 100°F rating; larger sizes in the series are rated lower. The pressure rating falls as fluid temperature rises, so check your operating temperature before installation.
The 2 in female pipe threads accept standard male NPT fittings. Use the BBV-32FP as a quarter-turn shutoff on oil, air and general industrial lines that operate within its rated limits. Its compact brass body fits where a larger line needs a simple manual isolation point.
