The Hyvair BBV-16FP is a 1 in brass ball valve with female NPT connections and a full port bore. It provides quick, manual on and off control with a quarter-turn lever handle, and it is rated to 600 psi at 100°F, decreasing to 100 psi at 375°F.
Turning the handle rotates a bored ball inside the body. Aligned with the pipe, the ball opens the line; turned crosswise, it closes it. The lever position shows whether the valve is open or shut.
The full port ball keeps the bore close to the nominal 1 in pipe size, so the valve adds little pressure drop when open. The body is machined brass, which resists corrosion. PTFE seats and seals give smooth operation and chemical resistance.
The BBV-16FP is part of the Hyvair B Series of brass ball valves. Its pressure rating falls as fluid temperature rises, so match your operating temperature to the 600 psi at 100°F through 100 psi at 375°F range.
The female pipe threads accept standard 1 in male NPT fittings. Use pipe sealant or thread tape for a leak-tight joint. The compact brass body works as a service valve or inline isolation point on lines that run within its rated pressure and temperature.
