The Hyvair BBV-4FP is a 1/4 in brass ball valve from the B Series, with female NPT pipe ports and quarter-turn operation. It gives fast, positive shutoff in small lines.
Construction follows the B Series build: brass body, bonnet and ball, PTFE seats, NBR O-ring seals, and a steel handle and nut. The PTFE seats seal against the ball with low friction, so the handle turns smoothly, and the brass components resist corrosion.
The valve is rated to 600 psi at 100°F. That rating falls as temperature rises, down to 100 psi at 375°F, so size the valve for your hottest operating condition rather than for room temperature.
With PTFE seats and brass construction, the BBV-4FP is compatible with water, oil, air and non-aggressive gases. Use it for line isolation, service shutoffs, and pilot or sample lines where a small quarter-turn valve fits better than a larger one. The female pipe ports accept standard male NPT fittings, and B Series dimensions keep replacement simple when you swap in a valve of the same size.
