The Hyvair BBV-24FP is a 1-1/2 in brass ball valve with female NPT connections and a full port bore. It provides manual on and off control and is rated to 600 psi at 100°F, with the rating derated to 100 psi at 375°F.
A ball valve opens and closes with a quarter turn. The bored ball inside the body lines up with the pipe to let flow through and rotates crosswise to stop it. That gives positive shutoff, and the handle shows the valve position.
With a full port design, the bore through the ball stays close to the 1-1/2 in pipe size. Flow passes with minimal pressure drop, which matters on larger lines where restriction adds up. The brass construction resists corrosion.
The BBV-24FP is part of the Hyvair B Series of brass ball valves. Because its pressure rating drops as fluid temperature climbs, check your system temperature against the 600 psi at 100°F to 100 psi at 375°F range before installation.
The 1-1/2 in female pipe threads accept standard male NPT fittings. Install the BBV-24FP as an inline shutoff or flow-through isolation valve on oil and general industrial fluid lines that run within its rated pressure and temperature.
