The Hyvair BD05-H2 is a B Series bolt kit for mounting a D05 solenoid valve on top of two modular valves. The kit holds four 1/4-20 socket head cap screws, each 5.8 in long. The screws pass through the solenoid valve and both modular sections, then thread into the manifold or subplate below to clamp the whole stack in one step.
Each modular valve adds height to a D05 stack, so the bolt length has to match the number of sections. A screw that is too short leaves too little thread engagement in the manifold. One that is too long can bottom out before the stack is clamped. The 5.8 in length of the BD05-H2 is matched to a stack of one solenoid valve and two modular valves.
Recommended tightening torque is 105 in-lb. Bringing all four screws to that value spreads clamping force evenly across every interface in the stack. That keeps each layer seated on its seals and aligned with the manifold passages.
Buying the screws as a kit saves sourcing individual fasteners and checking each length by hand. The BD05-H2 suits new builds, maintenance and retrofits where a D05 valve sits on two modular valves. For a valve mounted with no modular sections, a shorter kit such as the BD05-H0 is the correct match.
