The Hyvair BD03-H2 is a B Series bolt kit for mounting a D03 solenoid valve with 2 modular valves. The kit contains a set of 4 socket head cap screws with a 10-24 thread and a length of 5.0 in.
When modular valves are stacked between a directional valve and its manifold or subplate, the mounting bolts have to pass through the whole stack. Bolts sized for a valve alone are too short for that. This kit provides bolts sized for a D03 solenoid valve with two modular valves underneath it.
Each of the four bolts is a socket head cap screw, tightened with a hex key. The bolts have a 10-24 thread, and the 5.0 in length is set for the height of the valve plus two modular valves.
The recommended torque is 40 in-lbs. Tighten the four bolts evenly, in a cross pattern, to bring the stack down flat on the mounting surface and compress the O-rings uniformly.
Before ordering, count the modular valves in your stack. A stack with a different number of modular valves needs a different bolt length, so match the kit to the stack.
