The Hyvair BD03-H0 is a B Series bolt kit for a D03 solenoid valve mounted directly on a subplate or manifold, with no modular valves under it. It contains four socket head cap screws with 10-24 threads, each 1.75 in long.
With no modular valves in the stack, the bolts only need to pass through the solenoid valve body before threading into the mounting surface. Bolts that are too short will not reach full thread engagement, and bolts that are too long can bottom out before the valves clamp tight.
Recommended torque is 40 in-lbs. Tighten the four screws evenly and in steps to the recommended torque so the stack clamps flat and the seals between valve faces compress evenly.
The socket head design lets you drive the screws with a hex key or hex bit, which helps where valves sit close together on a manifold.
When you add or remove a modular valve, the stack height changes and a different bolt kit is needed. Order by part number BD03-H0 to get the four screws described here.
