The Hyvair VT3 vertical hydraulic power unit reservoir, part number VT3, holds 3 gallons. It is the reservoir for Hyvair VT Series small hydraulic power units and ships as a tank only, for OEMs, machine builders and maintenance teams building or rebuilding compact units.
Besides storing oil, a reservoir gives returning fluid time to release air, shed heat and settle heavier contaminants before the pump draws it again. The VT3 stands vertically and mounts by its base through four 0.39 in diameter holes on a 12.99 x 10.24 in pattern.
It comes with a filler/breather, a level/temperature gauge and a magnet. The filler/breather caps the fill opening and filters the air the tank draws in as fluid level changes. The gauge shows oil level and temperature at a glance, and the magnet holds ferrous particles inside the tank.
The motor, pump, relief valve, check valve and manifold are not included. Pair the tank with your own components to build or rebuild a compact power unit. Hyvair VT units run 1 to 3 HP AC motors with pumps from 0.7 to 3.5 gpm.
